Pegasus A321 Diverts to Bucharest After Medical Emergency Onboard

The Pegasus Airlines Airbus A321 (registration TC-RBG), operating flight #PC397 from St. Petersburg to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, issued a Squawk 7700 emergency signal shortly after takeoff.

The aircraft diverted to Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport, where it landed safely. It has been reported that the emergency code was triggered due to a medical emergency involving a passenger on board.
